Your skillset is HTML, PHP and Wordpress, plus a few other coding skills that might come in handy. You are amazing with custom themes and page builders, and you’re looking for an employer who listens to your ideas and values your input during scrums and daily stand-up meetings. You enjoy debugging existing code and coding from Sk{rat/et}ch is your passion.
We’re offering you:

- Work with clients who value your efforts. Develop websites and applications not-for-profit organisations and member organisations. Our only rule for taking on new clients is ‘no dickheads’.
- Continual professional development: We offer a range of avenues, including: React development, application UX, digital design, and delivering UX workshops to clients. You might also want to go down a management stream, such as: proposal research and authoring, and technical specifications authoring.
Availability and rate:
2 to 3 days a week for the next 6 months, negotiable, with a view to permanent part-time or full-time.
$40-80 per hour or project-based payment, negotiable. This will be determined by your speed and the diversity of your skillset.
A valid ABN is required.
Working from our Frankston office is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert Artwork into clean HTML
- Ability to make a website fully responsive, from desktop to tablet to phone
- Use your knowledge of UX and SEO to help implement best practice solutions
- Custom Wordpress (or Craft) theme development, using Custom Posts, ACF & Gravity Forms
- Build and maintain websites with themes and page builders.
- Develop dynamic websites, Woo-commerce, and membership sites.
- Ensure that plugins are not overused the CMS is not bloated and is user-friendly for content authors
Required skills:
- Be able to accurately quote development timeframes
- The ability to solve problems as a second nature
- Ability to push back and question job briefs, to deliver better outcomes

- Good working knowledge of PHP
